3 bear sightings in 5 days (and shot a trophy). Guides that care about their client's success, rustic lodging that makes you feel as comfortable as home, some of the best cooking I've had (don't tell my mom), and the greatest hosts ever. I can't say enough about how much I've enjoyed myself! Thank you Gloria, Alan, Nathan!!!

Glenn Durgin made our cow moose hunt a total success. He is a 24/6 hunter(no Sunday hunting) and we succeeded despite tough conditions. We had a great time, and we owe much to his energy and perseverance.

We have had a great time here this week. Alan and Gloria are terrific hosts. Cabins are comfortable, food very good. We had a great hunt, harvested a decent moose. I have figured a new measurement scale for moose. If you shoot a 50” bull at 80 yards, your score would be 4000 moose yards. But if you were to shoot a 37” bull at 300 yards, your score would be 11,000 moose yards which would make me the winner. LOL Thanks for everything.

Thank you everyone! We had a wonderful time, it was just too short. Next time I’ll make sure to tell Bill not to shoot something too early (Ha Ha!). We hope to see you all again. Everything here was great!

Thank you so much for being such gracious hosts for our group. Everyone, without expection, said it was the bst trip that they had ever been on. They are still raving about the food. We came back with renewed energy to get things done. Absolutely the best of “everything.” We had lots of laughs.

Friday, August 13th is a day we will remember forever. A big part of our happiness was having family and friends enjoy what Kelly and Grace already knew about - spectacular views, beautiful weather, stargazing nights and the outstanding service provided by Gloria, Alan and their staff. We truly appreciate all their efforts of making our wedding day the best it could have possibly been.

Fabulous place to stay on our trip to the Univerdity of Maine/Fort Kent! The food is incredible. Nathan is the most fun guide in Maine!

My 2009 Maine Moose hunt was the hunt of a lifetime. Choosing Nate Theriault as my outfitter was the best decision I ever made! OMM Outfitters goes all out to make it happen, leading to the harvest of my trophy bull. The camps at Eagle Lake provide a unique opportunity to go back in time and the Theriault family makes you feel welcome as if you are a part of the family.

There were six hunters in camp. 3 bears were killed over bait, by rifle, the first evening. One was arrowed and not recovered the second evening. Another was taken by rifle the third day. One bear sighted twice, but not taken by the sixth, was estimated to be over 500 lbs. All hunters except one had digital cameras showing 300 lbs+ bears coming to their bait stations during the legal shooting hours. The other one didn't have a camera set up at the bait sight. Nathan is the real deal as a guide. I had the opportunity, after harvesting my bear, to help and watch him bait several sights for the upcoming weeks hunts. He works hard before, after and during the hunt. He is thorough and knowledgable in his attention to details and his success shows it.The meals were home cooked and outstanding. I returned after harvesting my bear at about midnight. Nathan had called ahead and there was a nice warm meal waiting for me. I would not hesitate to use or recommend Nathan Theriault and OMM Outfitters to anyone.

Shawn came for a bear, which he did get thanks to Nate and his care and detail of his bear sites. I came to relax and enjoy, which I did thanks to the staff. You could not have been more kind or welcoming to us. Thank you for a trip we will never forget. Also, it was not too bad without the T.V. !!

Thank you for the best time ever. Everything was fit for a king!!! All of you are very nice and worked hard for us. God Bless.

We couldn’t have asked for better weather, accommodations and wonderful food during our stay this week. We wanted for nothing as we were provided for very well. Thank you very much. We had a wonderful time.

Had dinner there the other evening. Great steaks and hosting. It was a little windy but Gloria was out by the dock as we approached and helped us secure the boat. Spent a lovely evening wining and dining. Plan on going again in the near future.

We had a wonderful vacation at camp. Hate to leave tomorrow. Alan, thank you for sharing your evenings, telling us your stories, and sharing your knowledge. The boat driving made Robert’s trip. This area of Maine has always been, and will always be a special place in my life. Although I have been away for many years, my heart will always be here. Thank you for the great food and personable attention our party was shown today. It was a wonderful time

We are in awe after 10 minutes. The Maine Department or Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Biologists stayed here for the night to rest up before heading out with Nathan for goose round up and banding in the morning. Thanks for good food and good company.

Thanks for sharing your wonderful , serene atmosphere, delicious cooking and lessons, your family fun, and of course the several stories! We had fun watching Morris the Moose and his pals Bullwinkle and Buckwheat. The Eagles are extraordinary! Kayaking and early morning canoe trips down the thoroughfare were special times. The waterskiing was scenic and uncrowded. We will come back again.

I’ve been to numerous Maine camps and this is the best. Alan and Nathan are great guys and very knowledgeable. I had an awesome time.

This is the best hunting and fishing camp I’ve been to in my 12+ years. The food and company was great. Eagle Lake Sporting Camps is a beautiful location with great staff. We’ll be coming back time and again.

It’s my birthday and I came to celebrate. There is nothing better than riding up north, eating great food, drinking great drinks and partying with great friends. The steak is awesome!!
